Google Play asks a new developer account for twelve testers over fourteen days before an app can go to production. OneDevs is where developers find them: list your app on the Board, and other developers install it, use it and earn DevCoins for doing so. You earn yours the same way, by testing theirs.
Missions put a small group on each other's apps every day for the full fourteen days, with the fee returned — and a share of what others forfeited — to everyone who did their part. Testers can send bug reports and suggestions straight to the developer.
The Lab reads an APK on the phone and checks it the way a Play review would: manifest, permissions, target SDK, signing, size and store listing.
